Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

All Canadian provinces and territories have the ability to nominate for immigration individuals who want to settle in their respective province, and who offer skills, work experience, education or other assets that can make a positive impact on the local community and economy.

Each province and territory has a provincial nominee program with its own set of rules and eligibility criteria. Individuals who are selected through these programs are frequently able to have their applications processes through a faster stream than most federal immigration programs.

It should be noted that since Quebec follows its own immigration processes and selection criteria, it does not have the same provincial nominee procedures as the other provinces and territories.
